Not Sure Your Grain Will Separate? Start With a Sample Test

31 October 2026

See what comes out—and what stays

Not sure unwanted material will separate from the grain you want to keep? A Metra sample test lets you see your own material being separated: what comes out, what stays with the useful grain and what unwanted material remains. That gives you a concrete starting point for choosing a cleaning approach without first choosing a machine.

Start with the cleaning problem

Tell Metra which crop you have, what you want removed and how you intend to use the grain. Describe any cleaning equipment you already use and your site setup. Those details help Metra select equipment and settings around the actual job.

You do not need to choose a machine before getting started. Metra uses your grain sample to demonstrate the separation process, evaluate the cleaned and removed fractions, and recommend suitable equipment and settings for your cleaning needs.

Agree on the sample before shipping

Metra offers free grain sample testing. Before sending grain, contact the manager to agree on the sample quantity and shipping details for your location. The amount to send is agreed for your request, rather than a fixed amount for every cleaning problem.

The grain cleaning test is free. Your Metra manager will confirm the shipping arrangements and any associated costs before you send your sample.

Choose how you want to see the result

By agreement, you can watch the demonstration live online or receive a recorded video. You can combine those options and arrange to have the cleaned samples returned.

Live viewing lets you see the demonstration as it happens. A recording lets you review it later. Either gives you a way to see the proposed cleaning approach working with your material rather than relying only on a product description.

To arrange a free grain sample test, contact Metra at info@graincleaner.com. The manager will help with the sample, shipping and demonstration arrangements.
